The Crossroads property is 183 hectares (453 acres). About one third is forested. It is adjacent to the Hume Highway, the main highway between Sydney and Melbourne.

We are 45 minutes drive from Canberra, the national capital, and 10 minutes from Yass. The property includes half of Mount Mundoonan, the highest peak in the Mundoonan Range (817m), as well as the adjoining valleys and foothills.

Rainfall is around 650mm per year. The property gets a good cover of snow about once a year. Temperatures are pretty much those of Canberra, with summers topping 40 degrees Celcius and winters as low as -8 degrees.
