Taking Crossroads from dream to reality takes time, effort, and at this stage in our development, most of all requires funds.

Our current fundraising project is:

FUDGE!!

Okay, we admit - it's not quite as exciting as our last effort, which was to book out a cinema in Canberra, and run the first film night in Sydney for Star Wars - Episode III. But don't knock it - fudge is great stuff!

Fudge Drive

In years past, we ran an annual fudge drive as a fun way or raising funds. This was a popular and successful event, as the products are of excellent quality and vanish rapidly in most workplaces.

We will be running one again this year, and hope you might be able to help. The fudge people are currently selling us boxes of 15 mixed flavours for $49.40 incl GST. If we sell each bar for $5, we make $25.50 a box. In the past, we have been able to sell 20-40 boxes. We plan to start with 20 boxes this time, which would give us $500. If we have enough interest, we can order more.

One cunning plan is to cut some thin slices for a work morning tea, then let the whole bars sell themselves by word of mouth… Last time, some people sold 5 or 6 boxes!

Note that selling a box of fudge does count as your annual Membership Activity for Crossroads for the year. If you can sell a box, or help distribute boxes in your local area, please let us know.Back to top

Other Fund-Raising

We have a potential fundraiser in the form of a medieval themes Christmas function for a commercial organisation, which Russ is investigating.
