Crossroads Medieval Village

Currently the Crossroads site is available for hire. The site is ideal for school groups, ornithologists, hikers, scout and guide camps, or even just individuals who would like to get away from it all for a weekend. Just fill out our site hire form and send it back to us by mail, fax or email.

The land is filled with fascinating natural features, including:

wetlands, where sundews grow
a creek running through the centre of the site
forests of native trees
many species of wild birds, including owls
cleared areas for camping
newly planted forest trees; come each year and watch the forest grow up around you!
kangaroos roam the site freely

Day use

Groups can use the site for a wide variety of events, with day rates of $3 per person, and discounts as numbers increase. A group of up to 25 people can use the site for $50, for example.

Camping on the site

The site costs $5 per head per night to camp. Crossroads can also offer for an extra fee a range of temporary facilities for your events, including:

toilets
showers
tent hire

and can even offer some catering. You can have a genuine medieval feast for as little as $30 dollars per head.

Crossroads is looking forwarded to shortly having a permanent toilet block on site. In the meantime we can arrange the hire of a Port-a-loo for you (which will be added to the costs).
