Getaway is a camp at the start of the year that is the perfect opportunity for those at UNI to make friends, have fun at the beach and dig deeply into the Word of God. Students from ANU, ACU, and UC will come together to spend the Canberra Day long weekend at the coast. In 2021 it will be in the Royal National Park near Sydney from Friday 5- sunday 7 March 2021. And for those of you who are working, Don’t forget Worker’s Escape is coming on 19- 21 March. This is an opportunity for workers to get together and grow in conviction as Jesus centred workers. Regos are now open so head to the family news for more details.

Some big news for our youth out there: Crossfire is planning to get into KYCK again this year! KYCK is a big youth conference at Katoomba that Crossfire has hooked up with over many years, but had to miss it last year with COVID. It will be so good for our youth to get away again to learn and grow in fellowship with Jesus together. All the details on plans and registration are coming out this weekend, and it would be great for youth to get into rego’s as quick as possible! Stay tuned for more information on registration.

If you are studying at university this year you may like to join our Crossroads Student Growth Group. Usually, these groups are run on campus but due to Covid restrictions, at present, we will meet at North Canberra Baptist, which is a short walk from ANU.

Student GG runs Tuesday nights from 630PM-830PM.

Crossroads Student Growth Group functions as a village within the crossroads community, it gives you a chance to meet with 30-40 others whilst still giving you the opportunity to be a normal GG. We are kicking off Tuesday 9 Feb so register now or just come along.

Our Kids & Youth ministries are about to kick off for they year, and we still need and would love some more leaders to join our teams. Some particular needs are for:

1. Crossfire leaders - we still need key leaders for particular year groups as well as others to help with organisation on Friday nights.

2. Kingdom Kids leaders - we'd love more leaders to join our team, particularly with younger classes at the Belconnen congregation.

2. Mid week creche helpers - our Tuesday and Thursday Women's Growth Group are supporting by a great creche program, and we would love some more helpers
