Springfest: Reconciliation
The Voice referendum is coming up, and we’ll be voting on a mechanism to keep enacting reconciliation with First Nations people. Our nation is grappling with the question of reconciliation and what does it look like, and what does it mean for me? But we know that Jesus’ death and resurrection brings about a much bigger reconciliation - a reconciliation between God and humanity, and has impacts on how we treat one another. This year, we have Michael Duckett, a Dunghutti man, who will share his experience of this transformative gospel reconciliation.

Springfest: Forgiveness
None of us gets through life without being wronged and wronging others. Forgiveness is something we all need. But what is it? And what does our need for forgiveness tell us about ourselves and the world? Speaker:  Dan Anderson, Director Lauchlan Macquarie Institute.

Springfest: Service of Prayer and Wholeness

We live as broken people in a broken world that cries out for relief and restoration. At this special service, we will hear of God's heart and promise for those who are weighed down in their pain, and we will pray for the relief and healing only God can bring.

JESUS ON LIFE
Over the last 2000 years Jesus has been recognised as the most significant person in history.  His unconventional way of thinking, notion of identity and ideas of love have revolutionised the world. There is not a day in our twenty-first century society that has not been affected by his ideas and thoughts. His radical ideas of looking after the vulnerable and loving your neighbour are today standard practices. But his ideas of going beyond what is expected to love your enemies and to flee from immoral thinking are still divinely profound. But these are only a hand full of his claims.

If you would like to meet this extraordinary man, the Jesus of the Bible, who changed the world, come to Jesus on life. Or if you don’t know who this Jesus is but would like to learn more about this radical thinker and his claims, then Jesus on Life is for you too.

Jesus on Life is a four week series that looks at the life of Jesus and what he had to say about life. Each session is a casual evening with a short talk and a chance to ask any questions you might have about Jesus and Christianity over coffee and dessert.
