KINGDOM KIDS ON SUNDAY

Children are valued greatly as members of our church family. Kingdom Kids begins part way through our church meetings at both our North and Belconnen congregations after children have enjoyed meeting with the whole congregation for about 15-20 minutes. The Kingdom Kids program seeks to grow our youngest church members by teaching them in ways they can understand and form friendships with other children.
Kingdom Kids is for ages 1 through to the end of primary school. At Kingdom Kids the children learn from the Bible through a variety of age appropriate activities such as games, singing, craft and drama.

The school-age groups (K-6) are often taught from the same Bible passage as the adults and youth. We hope this encourages our whole church to learn and grow together. The younger children work through foundational Bible stories and themes that we hope help them to grasp God's love for them.

KIDS BLAST ON FRIDAY

Kids Blast is a Friday evening kids’ ministry for girls and boys in school yrs 3-6, with the purpose of gathering kids together to help develop shared experience in following Jesus. It’s for all kids—those who identify as Christian, those who aren’t sure, or those interested to find out more—and is a perfect place to learn more about Jesus with others in exactly the same boat.

At Kids Blast we’re keen to share a bit of life together, to encourage each other, to get to know God better and to let God make a real difference in our lives. Kids Blast meets on Friday afternoons during the school term. We usually spend time together enjoying lots of games, activities, small group time and prayer as we look at parts of the Bible to check out what it means for us today.

Friday Afternoons during school terms

VISITING

If you are visiting with us, please make sure you sign your child in at the Check In
area. Please do this each time your children visit at Kingdom Kids.

If you decide to attend regularly, please register your child in person, an online form will be available soon.

VOLUNTEER LEADERS

All of our Kids & Youth leaders are members of Crossroads and have completed Safe Ministry training.

Teaching children to follow Jesus is a great privilege and joy and we encourage all members of Crossroads to consider how they might be involved. Examples include being a regular class leader, helping out on occasion, or supporting with other tasks.

Please consider how you can be involved in caring for the children in our church family.

Safe Ministry

Jesus calls us to love and care for each other, and to protect the vulnerable. Our Safe Ministry policies help us to do this as a church. We want all members of our church to be aware of Safe Ministry as to work together to care for each other.

Please see our policies for more information.
